Women in Narmada district face many health issues, especially related to nutrition, personal hygiene and sanitation. These issues are identified and then are linked with local health department or PHCs. Many awareness programmes are also conducted to make women and men aware about importance of nutrition and the problems, which may arise in its absence. Activities related to Reproductive Child Health are also dealt with the Centre, wherein awareness is created among adolescent girls with special toolkits created by Manthan. These kits include calendars related to menstruation, concept of menstrual hygiene and health, different concepts related to human body, anatomy and growth in male and females.
